3.	Managers and Executives subject to International Transfer to the U.S.

To be eligible under this category of EB1 Green Card, you must have worked abroad for a parent, subsidiary, branch, or affiliate of the U.S. company for at least one year in the past three years (or prior to entry into the U.S.) in an executive or managerial capacity, and demonstrate

that you will continue to work in an executive or managerial capacity in the U.S. company.

In addition to the above, you must also present evidence that:

a.	You manage the organization, or a department, subdivision, function or component of the organization and/or direct the management of the organization or a major component or function of the organization

b.	You supervise and control the work of other supervisory, professional or managerial employees and manage an essential function within the organization and establish organizational goals and policies

c.	You have the authority to take personnel actions such as hiring/firing and promoting personnel

d.	You exercise discretion over the day-to-day operations of the activity or function for which you have authority and also exercise wide latitude in discretionary decision making

You receive only general supervision or direction from higher level executives, the board of directors

or stockholders of the organization

EB-2 Professionals with advanced degrees or persons with exceptional ability

Individuals with Exceptional Ability in the Sciences, Arts or Business

To be eligible for a Green Card under this category, you must produce evidence of at least three of the following:

a.	Official academic records showing the foreign national has a degree, diploma, certificate or similar award from a college, university, school or other institution of learning relating to the area of exceptional ability

b.	Letters documenting at least ten years of full-time experience in the occupation being sought

c.	License to practice the profession or certification for a particular profession or occupation

d.	Evidence that you commanded a salary or other remuneration for services which demonstrate exceptional ability

e.	Membership in professional associations

f.	Recognition for achievements and significant contributions to the industry or field by peers, government entities, professional or business organizations

Advanced Degree Professionals

You may be eligible for a green card under this category if the job requires an advanced degree (beyond the baccalaureate) and you possess such a degree or the equivalent.

You must include documentation, such as:

a.	Official academic records showing that you have a U.S. advanced degree or a foreign equivalent degree

b.	Official academic records showing that you have a U.S. baccalaureate degree or a foreign equivalent degree and letters from current or former employers showing that you have at least five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the specialty

3.	Qualified Foreign Physicians Practicing Medicine in an Area which Is Underserved

	To qualify as an eligible foreign physician, you must be practicing medicine or entering the U.S. to practice medicine in a Health and Human Services Department (HHS)-designated underserved area or a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facility.
