Advance Parole

If you are applying for USCIS Advance Parole (to leave the U.S.), send your application to the USCIS District or Sub-Office with jurisdiction over your place of residence, or to the Service Center if your case is pending there.

If you are applying for Humanitarian Parole (to enter the U.S.), send your application to the Office of International Affairs, Attn: ULLICO Bldg, 3rd floor, Washington, D.C. 20536.

  If you are applying for parole from outside the U.S., you must also submit:

 
1.  A statement of how, and by whom medical care, housing, transportation, and other expenses and subsistence needs will be met

2.  USCIS Form I-134, an affidavit of support document, which indicates your sponsor's occupation and ability to provide you the necessary support

3.  A statement of why a U.S. visa cannot be obtained, including when and where attempts were made to obtain a visa

4.  A statement of why a waiver of excludability cannot be obtained to allow issuance of a visa, including when and where attempts were made to obtain a waiver and a copy of any written decision

5.  A copy of any written decision on an immigrant petition filed on your behalf, and evidence regarding any pending immigrant petition

6.  A complete description of the urgent reasons and why parole should be authorized and copies of any evidence you wish considered, and indicating the length of time for which a parole is requested
IV. Differences between Advance Parole and Reentry Permit
  
A.    Advance parole document is issued to foreign nationals who are not yet lawful permanent residents, while the reentry permit is issued to lawful permanent residents

B.    Advance Parole may be valid for up to one year, while the reentry permit is valid for two years from the date of issue
